Our Mission
Our mission is to provide innovative and cost-effective groundwater modelling solutions to support risk-based hydrogeological decision making through a rigorous quantification of model uncertainty.
Our History
In 2013, Groundwater Solutions was founded in Melbourne, Australia by Kevin Hayley following relocation from Western Canada. Groundwater Solutions was established to provide technical excellence with a focus on model calibration and uncertainty analysis. We strive to exceed expectations and our integrity, work ethic and client-focused commitment to detail ensure a high quality product.
Our Team

Kevin Hayley, Ph.D
Principal Hydrogeologist/Geophysicist and Director
A Hydrogeologist and Geophysicist with 15 years of experience in the fields of mineral exploration, academic research, and environmental consulting.
My professional interests are in projects that combine the need for research and development with immediate practical application for the improvement of water resources and contaminated site management.

Emma White, Ph.D
Senior Hydrogeologist/Groundwater Modeller
Dr Emma White has experience in both physical and contaminant hydrogeology including analysis of pump test data, groundwater licensing procedure and regulatory structure. Field experience includes groundwater monitoring, large scale water source drilling programs and small scale contaminant drilling programs.Ms White is particularly interested in Australian and international groundwater policy, environmental management modelling and effective groundwater management plan design.

Jens Schumacher, M.Sc
Groundwater Modeller/Software Developer
Jens Schumacher has 12 years of experience in hydrogeology, high performance computing, software design, and data modelling. He provides pragmatic solutions to water resource problems using state of the art technology and methods.
